AARC Inclusive Program

Everyone is invited to row with us!

The Ann Arbor Rowing Club is a proud affiliate of USRowing’s America Rows program that is designed to promote inclusiveness in the sport of rowing.  AARC is committed to making rowing more accessible to all community members and strives to create opportunities for all athletes.  We currently offer specialized programs for veterans and adaptive programs for athletes with physical or cognitive disabilities, such as autism spectrum disorder.

Athletes in the Inclusive Program will be asked to provide relevant medical documentation for evaluation of adjustments to equipment and procedures that will accommodate their impairments and allow them to participate to the maximum of their abilities. All provided medical information will be treated confidentially.

AARC's Inclusive Rowing Programs are supported primarily through fundraising, donations and other community support.  Please consider supporting this program--Donate here
